We are using cookies only for technical reasons: To securely identify your logged session. To securely identify if you want to remember your logged session for a longer duration.

Data Collection

As a guest, we are not collecting or tracking you:

  • No personal information is collected.
  • No information such as cookies is stored in the browser.
  • No information is shared with, sent to, or sold to third-parties.
  • No information is shared with advertising companies.
  • No information is mined and harvested for personal and behavioral trends.
  • No information is monetized.

We run the Plausible Analytics script to collect some anonymous usage data for statistical purposes. The goal is to track overall trends in our website traffic; it is not to track individual visitors. All the data is in aggregate only. No personal data is collected.

Our servers are collecting IP addresses for logging purposes and are not tied to user accounts or entered data.

We run the Sentry for collecting crash errors and sensitive information is removed before sending to sentry. See sentry policy for more

Embedded content

As a Registered User of Canvastera

  • An email address is required to create an account.
  • A persistent first-party cookie is stored to remember you’re logged in.
  • All data that we collect is kept fully secured, encrypted, and hosted in Falkenstein, Germany using DigitalOcean services. See DigitalOcean privacy policy.
  • All emails are sent using a third-party email provider. See brevo.com privacy policy.
  • When you write to us with a question or to ask for help, we keep that correspondence, including the email address, so that we have a history of past correspondences to reference if you reach out in the future. We use this data solely in connection with answering the queries we receive.
  • When you submit feedback or feature requests, we keep that feedback, which includes the email address. We use this to understand the popularity of requests and to send you a notification when the feature you requested has been released.

Retention of Data

We will retain your information as long as your account is active, as necessary to provide you with the services or as otherwise set forth in this policy. We will also retain and use this information as necessary for the purposes set out in this policy and to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and protect Canvastera’s legal rights.

Poster Privacy Assurance

We assure you that we do not offer any tools for our staff to access or view your private posters. Your posters are secure and protected from unauthorized eyes, reinforcing our commitment to maintaining the utmost confidentiality. Search engines are informed to not index any poster.
